The Four Seasons • 2025 • I say this a lot, but this time it's true - this may be the tv show (limited series) I enjoyed most this year. It's hilarious and poignant. A wonderful remake of Alan Alda's classic. • Loved It!
The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare • 2026 • It's a little weird to give a documentary about kids getting murdered five stars, but I thought that it did a really good job of showing the grief of the families and how they handled it, as well as just the incredible insensitivity of people on the internet judging it from afar. *****
The Night Manager • 2016 • Season 2 review • Tom Hiddleston continues to be super compelling in this role. The supporting cast here is very good - Diego Calva as Teddy Dos Santos and Camila Morrone as Roxana Bolaños are expecially good. Paul Chahidi (Basil) and Hayley Squires (Sally) are also great. *****
The Studio • 2025 • After one episode I realized I have zero desire to ever watch this again. I don't care about Hollywood sycophants and I'm not even much of a Seth Rogan fan. • Didn't Like It
UNTAMED • First Time Watch • 2025 • I wish I could rate this higher. It started off great. The premise was good. The acting was pretty good. There were some slightly unbelievable plot points and twists, but overall I still recommend it. • Liked It
Vietnam: The War That Changed America • 2025 • Overall, very well done - depressing, uplifting, maddening, inspiring, and insightful either way. I think some of the things chosen to focus on were a bit off, but mostly they nailed it. • Liked It
Your Friends & Neighbors S2 • 2025 • S2 review. Yes, this show is absolutely about the rich and privileged, but it does actually make you care about some of the people. It's overwhelmingly hilarious. And tense. And fun. The whole cast is stellar, but Jon Hamm is just magnificent. *****
Your Friends & Neighbors • 2025 • What a season! What a show! This ranks way up there on the all time favorites list. Very curious about where it goes next. • Loved It!
Zero Day • 2025 • Decent-ish premise, written wildly unrealistically. Robert De Niro is always good, Jesse Plemons was surprisingly good, and several others do their jobs admirably, but the writing is too corny and far-fetched to care. Cannot recommend. • Didn't Like It
